How do I export data?
Learn how to export patient outcome data from HiBoop as a CSV file for use in external reporting or research.
HiBoop supports data exports in CSV format. Exported files include assessment scores, severity labels, dates, and optional patient identifiers.
How to export
- Go to Reports in the main navigation
- Apply any filters to scope the data you want (date range, assessment type, patient group)
- Click the Export button (top-right of the report view)
- Choose your export options:
- De-identified, patient names replaced with anonymized IDs (recommended for research)
- Identified, includes patient names and clinic-assigned IDs
- Click Download, a CSV file will be saved to your device
What's included in the export
Each row in the exported CSV represents one completed assessment instance. Columns include:
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Patient ID | Anonymized or clinic-assigned identifier |
| Assessment name | Name of the scale completed |
| Date completed | Date and time of completion |
| Total score | Numeric score |
| Severity label | Clinical severity category (e.g., Mild, Moderate, Severe) |
| Provider | Assigned clinician (if applicable) |
Data access requirements
Only users with Clinical Admin or Account Admin roles can export data. Care Providers and other roles do not have export access by default.
Notes
- Large exports (e.g., multi-year clinic data) may take a moment to generate
- Exported data is a snapshot, it reflects the data at the time of export
- Contact support if you need a data export format other than CSV
