Patient Management
Manage your patient list, issue assessments, and track care progress in HiBoop. This section covers how to add patients, schedule assessments, and choose the best delivery method for each stage of care.
How do I issue an assessment?
There are two ways to issue an assessment:
- For a new patient: On the Patient page, click "Add a Patient", enter their details, and select "Issue an Assessment."
- For an existing patient: On their Patient Profile, click on an available schedule type (Intake, Discharge, Follow-Up, or Create Schedule) to open the assessment settings.
What delivery methods are available?
Assessments can be delivered in three ways:
- Email – The patient receives a direct link to complete the assessment.
- In-Person (QR Code) – A QR code is generated for patients to scan and complete the assessment on a phone or tablet.
- Clinician Portal – Care providers can administer the assessment on behalf of the patient.
How do I schedule an assessment for the future?
When issuing an assessment from the Patient Profile, select a future date in the Assessment Details section.
- If email is selected as the delivery method, the assessment will be sent automatically on that date.
- If in-person (QR code) or clinician portal is selected, the provider must administer the assessment manually.
A calendar feature will soon be available to help track upcoming assessments.
How do I add a patient?
Once your clinic is set up in HiBoop, adding a patient is simple:
- Go to the Patient page and click "Add a Patient."
- Enter the patient's first name, last name, and email address.
- If you'd like to issue an assessment immediately, select a delivery method (email, in-person, or clinician portal) in the next step.
What is a schedule?
A schedule functions as a patient’s care plan. It typically includes:
- Intake or pre-assessments before treatment
- Regular check-ins during treatment
- Discharge assessments
- Post-treatment follow-ups
