Setting up preferred assessments

Preferred assessments are the default full-length scales HiBoop assigns when a patient's prescreen results flag a specific condition domain. Setting these up ensures consistency across your clinic and avoids manual selection on a per-patient basis.

How to configure preferred assessments

1. Go to Settings > Assessment Form
2. Scroll to the Preferred Assessments section
3. For each condition category listed (e.g., Depression, Anxiety, Trauma, Substance Use), click the dropdown
4. Select your preferred assessment from the available validated tools
5. Click Save at the bottom of the page

Notes

• Preferred assessments apply clinic-wide, they affect all patients unless overridden manually on an individual assessment
• Clinicians can still swap scales for specific patients when clinically appropriate
• If no preferred assessment is set for a domain, HiBoop will use its default recommendation based on the assessment library
